Shopping app prototype

I was given a broad assignment to create a prototype. Once deciding on a shopping application, I set out to research.

I found other solutions to this problem. I listed out what I liked and did not like about these other solutions.

Next, I created sketches and picked the best to implement in Adobe XD. I moved these wireframes to invision where I executed user testing.

Using my findings, I edited the wireframes and tested again. Once happy with the solution, I created Hi-fi prototypes.

With these higher fidelity prototypes I created another invision project. I again watched users complete sales and purchases on the app.

Contextual inquiry

  1. Do you feel that the app gives appropriate feedback when you choose something?

  2. Do all words and symbols make sense and seem natural?

  3. Can you navigate easily?

  4. Are the pages consistent with each other?

  5. Do you ever need to go back to remember how to use a certain function?

  6. Can you complete what you need to quickly without too many clicks?

  7. Is all information presented relevant?

  8. Can you tell where you are always?

Below are the questions and results from my contextual inquiry. These questions were answered on a scale from 0-5. This data allowed me to make any final changes before creating the final prototype.
